I took the train to Newcastle a couple of weeks ago to visit my little sister and see Alan Carr live on his Spexy Beast tour. But as a Vegan I was a little worried about eating out in Newcastle, but we stumbled across a great pub, Bob Trollop’s.

Thanks to veganstore.co.uk stocking go max go foods, ‘Twilight bars’ (vegan alternative to a Mars bar) and lush.co.uk for a lovely bubble bar called ‘Ma bar’ it is possible to have the ultimate vegan mars bar experience.
Just over a week ago we went to London for the day. Whilst walking along Oxford Street we started to feel quite hungry and wasn’t sure where we could get something decent to eat. We happened upon a Lebanese food stall that was serving a Falafel and Houmous sandwich so we gave it a go. We have since recreated this at home. Here’s how:

When I first made the decision to become a vegan I really thought I would struggle more than I have done. Of course I realised that to a certain extent I would at least be eating healthier, cutting out everyday chocolate bars etc. but I thought I would miss a lot of food more than I do.
