Summer Vegan Fete in London

Are you Veggie, Vegan or Vegan-curious and will you be in London on 25th August? If you are this Vegan fete may interest you.

I saw a flyer at the weekend in the Loving Hut Camden for a Summer Vegan Fete. I went to the website for more details, it looks like it will be fun. So I thought I’d let you know about it.

The Summer Vegan Fete is being held at Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, Holborn, London WC1R 4RL, (nearest tube is Holborn) on Saturday the 25th of August 2012 10am-4pm and entry is only £1. There will be lots of stalls selling all things Vegan – books, cakes, ice cream, chocolates and they’ll also be workshops, demonstrations, Q and A’s, Henna art and a shoulder press contest.  So there’s something for everyone!

Ms Cupcake will have a stall and will also be doing a Vegan cake baking demonstration – taking the mystery out of baking without eggs and butter. There will be nutrition question and answers, samples and tasters from Theresa Webb of Kitchen Buddy so if you are Vegan-curious this is the perfect time to ask questions and have a try of some Vegan foods. Vegan body building will also be at the fete, dispelling the myth that Vegans are weak – pumping iron naturally!! Animal Aid will have a stall, Animal Aid is the UK’s largest animal rights group and one of the longest established in the world. I’m sure they’ll have lots of leaflets and information on animal welfare, veganism, and some products to buy that they stock in their ethical online shop.
